1. Introduction and Scope
Fyno Technolgies (SMC-Private) Limited ("we", "our", "us", or "the Company"), a company registered under the laws of Pakistan (SECP Corporate ID: 0327148), operates the Screen Mirroring: Cast to TV mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, process, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App on Android and iOS devices.
This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the App globally. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not use the App.
This policy complies with applicable data protection laws including the Google Play Developer Program Policies (effective April 15, 2026), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and other applicable regional privacy regulations.
2. Information We Collect
We are committed to data minimization — we collect only the information necessary to provide and improve the App's functionality.
2.1 Information Collected Automatically
When you use the App, we and our third-party service providers may automatically collect:
- Device Information: Device model, brand, manufacturer, operating system version, unique device identifiers (Android ID, Advertising ID), screen resolution, and language preferences
- App Usage Data: Features accessed, session duration, in-app actions, crash reports, and error logs
- Network Information: WiFi network name (SSID), IP address, router information, and local network topology — collected solely to enable device discovery and screen mirroring functionality and processed locally on your device
- Performance Data: App load times, response times, and stability metrics
- Advertising Identifiers: Android Advertising ID (GAID) or iOS Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) used for ad personalization and measurement
2.2 Information You Provide
The App does not require user account creation or registration. We do not directly collect your name, email address, phone number, postal address, or any other personally identifiable information unless you contact us for support.
2.3 Information from Third-Party Services
Our third-party advertising and analytics partners may collect additional information as described in Section 6 of this Privacy Policy.
3. Permissions Requested and Why
In accordance with the Google Play Developer Program Policies (April 2026 update), we follow a minimum-necessary approach to permissions. Below is a complete disclosure of all permissions the App may request:
| Permission | Purpose | Required? |
|---|---|---|
| ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION / ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION | Required by Android OS to discover and connect to devices on the local WiFi network for screen mirroring. We do not use this to track your physical location. | Yes — core function |
| ACCESS_WIFI_STATE / CHANGE_WIFI_STATE | To detect and connect to your WiFi network for casting and mirroring | Yes — core function |
| ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE | To monitor connectivity and maintain stable mirroring sessions | Yes — core function |
| MEDIA_PROJECTION | To capture your device screen for mirroring to TV or display | Yes — core function |
| FOREGROUND_SERVICE | To maintain an active mirroring session while the App is in use | Yes — core function |
| INTERNET | To enable communication between your device and the receiving display | Yes — core function |
| RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED | Optional — to restore session preferences on device restart | Optional |
We request location permission only at the point of use — not at app startup — and only when you initiate a device scan or mirroring session, in compliance with Google's updated Location Permissions Policy (April 2026).
4. How We Use Your Information
We process your information for the following specific and limited purposes:
- To provide, operate, and maintain the core screen mirroring and casting features of the App

5. Screen Mirroring and Local Network Data
This section is particularly important. The App's core function is to mirror your device screen to a TV or external display over your local WiFi network.
- Screen content is transmitted only within your local network between your device and the receiving display
- Screen content is never recorded, stored, transmitted to, or processed by our servers or any third party
- We do not have access to, nor do we capture, what is displayed on your screen during a mirroring session
- Local network discovery data (device names, IP addresses on your local network) is used solely to identify compatible display devices and is never sent off your device
- No screen recording, screenshots, or captures are made by the App
6. Third-Party Services and Advertising
