This Privacy Policy explains how Fyno Technologies (SMC-Private) Limited ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use AI Translator: Voice & Camera (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 — What you provide directly

| 📖 Dictionary Searches | Words/phrases looked up in the Smart Dictionary. |
| 🌐 Language Preferences | Saved locally on your device. |
1.2 — How translation works
Text you submit for translation — typed, voice-recognized, image-extracted, or document-extracted — is sent to Google's translation service for processing, and the result is returned to you. This text is not stored on our servers.
1.3 — Collected automatically
- Device model, OS version, hardware configuration, advertising identifiers
- App usage data — features used, session duration
- Crash reports, performance logs, IP address, app version

We use Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request consent for personalized ads where required (EEA, UK). Change your choice anytime in the App's settings.
2. Permissions We Request

Some advertising SDKs may separately request device permissions (e.g. storage) solely to render rich-media ad formats — this is used by the ad SDK only, never by our own app code.
We request only the minimum permissions the App's features need.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Provide translation features — text, voice, conversation, camera, document, dictionary
- Serve ads, including personalized ads where you've consented
- Analyze usage to fix bugs and improve the App
- Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not use your content to train AI models.
4. How We Share Your Information
We never sell your personal information. We share data only with:
- Service providers — the SDK vendors listed above, each strictly for their stated purpose
- Legal authorities — if required by law or valid government request
- A successor entity — in the event of a merger or acquisition, with notice to you

- Android 12+:
Settings → Google → Ads → Delete Advertising ID - Android 11 and below: toggle "Opt out of Ads Personalization"

8. Data Deletion Requests
Email contact@fynotechnologies.com with subject "Data Deletion Request – AI Translator". We respond within 30 days.
9. Children's Privacy
Not directed at children under 13 (under 16 in the EU/EEA). We don't knowingly collect data from children — contact us immediately if you believe we have.
10. International Data Transfers
Data may be processed outside your country, including in the United States, by the service providers listed above, under Standard Contractual Clauses and other lawful safeguards.
11. Changes to This Policy
Material changes will be announced via in-app notice or Play Store update notes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
