This Privacy Policy explains how Fyno Technologies (SMC-Private) Limited ("Fyno Technologies," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the AI BG Eraser mobile application (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
a) Photos and Images
The App's core function is removing and generating image backgrounds. We access only the specific photos you choose to open in the App from your gallery or camera — never your entire library automatically.
b) Automatically Collected Information
- Device type, operating system version, language, and general (approximate) region
- App usage data, feature interactions, and crash/diagnostic logs
- Advertising identifiers (e.g. Android Advertising ID / Google Ad ID) for ad delivery, personalization, and campaign measurement
c) Purchase Information
Subscription payments are processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We never receive or store your card details.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Deliver the background removal, editing, and AI background generation features you request
- Maintain, secure, and improve the App, and diagnose crashes/bugs
- Serve and measure ads through our advertising partners
- Process and manage subscription entitlements
- Respond to support requests and enforce these terms
3. Photo & AI Processing
- Some edits run fully on-device. Where a feature (such as AI background generation) needs cloud processing, your image is sent over an encrypted connection to our processing infrastructure or a trusted third-party AI provider, solely to perform the edit you requested.
- We do not use your photos to train AI models without your separate, explicit opt-in consent.
- Any temporary server-side copy is deleted shortly after the operation completes; we do not keep a standing archive of your images.
- We never sell your photos, and we don't use them for marketing without your consent.
4. Advertising (Google AdMob & Google Ads)
The App displays ads served through Google AdMob, and we run install campaigns through Google Ads. These Google services may collect and process:
- Advertising identifiers and device information, to serve and measure ads
- Approximate (not precise) location, where permitted, for ad relevance
- Conversion data (e.g. that an install or in-app action followed an ad click), for campaign measurement
Google acts as an independent data controller for its own ad services. See Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses data in ads for details. You can manage ad personalization in your device's Google Settings at any time.
5. Your Consent Choices
EU / UK / EEA users
Where required under Google's EU User Consent Policy, we present a consent management prompt before loading personalized ads, allowing you to accept or reject non-essential data processing.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
Personalized advertising may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under California law. You can opt out at any time via your device's ad settings or by contacting us at the email below with the subject "Do Not Sell or Share My Info."
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information for monetary payment. We share limited data only:
- With service providers (hosting, analytics, AI processing, advertising) strictly to operate the App
- If required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Fyno Technologies, our users, or the public
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, under standard confidentiality protections
7. Data Retention & Deletion
Edited photos stay on your device under your control; we don't retain a standing copy of your originals or exports beyond brief, automatically-deleted processing copies described in Section 3. To request deletion of any account or usage data we hold, email us — we'll respond within a reasonable time and in line with applicable law.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is rated for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and ad requests from this App are not tagged as child-directed. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal data, and to object to certain processing, including for advertising. Contact us using the details below to exercise these rights.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards — including encryption in transit — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including Pakistan, where our infrastructure and service providers operate. We take steps to ensure such transfers comply with applicable data protection law.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above, and where required, we'll provide additional notice inside the App.
